Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SuccessMinds (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit successminds.com, use your account and purchased audio content, or contact us. We operate under the business name SuccessMinds. For privacy questions and requests, email privacy@successminds.com.

Information we collect and why

• Account and service information: your name, email address, sign-in information, membership and purchase entitlements, settings, and information you submit. We use it to create and secure your account, provide the services you request, and assist you.
• Orders and payments: the products you select, transaction and subscription records, billing details, and payment status. Our checkout and payment providers process payment information to complete purchases, manage subscriptions and refunds, and prevent fraud. The checkout identifies the available payment method. We do not ask you to send card numbers by email.
• Messages and forms: your contact details, support messages, feedback, and any information you choose to provide. We use this to respond, resolve problems, and maintain appropriate service records. Please avoid sending sensitive health information that is unnecessary for your request.
• Technical information: connection and security logs, such as IP addresses, request times, URLs, device/browser details and error information. We use this to deliver the website, maintain reliability and security, and investigate abuse.
• Optional analytics: if you enable Analytics, Google Analytics and Mixpanel may receive browser/device information, pseudonymous identifiers and usage events, including pages visited and interactions with products and audio features. Existing account-related analytics can associate activity with account identifiers. We do not use the cookie banner as permission to collect sensitive health information.
• Optional marketing: if you enable Marketing, Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and Pinterest tags may receive identifiers, browser information, page visits and conversion events to measure campaigns and personalize advertising. Our site need not display advertisements for these technologies to be used.
• Optional embedded content: if you enable Optional content, providers of embedded content, including Creatopy/Bannersnack, can receive your IP address, browser information and interactions with their content. A provider may also receive information you enter directly into its form.
• Privacy choices: we store a random consent identifier, the choices submitted, the time, the website and language, and the version of the consent information shown. These records help us respect and demonstrate your choices. We do not put your name or email address in the consent record.

Your cookie and tracking choices

Optional categories are off until you choose to enable them. Select Reject to keep only necessary technologies, or Customize to choose categories. You can reopen Privacy settings using the settings icon and withdraw permission at any time. Refusing optional tracking does not prevent sign-in, purchases or access to purchased audio. Optional embedded content may remain unavailable until you enable their category.

We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping optional analytics and marketing off, even if a previous choice allowed them. We do not separately interpret the older Do Not Track header; the same opt-in controls apply whether or not that header is present. Your choice is remembered on this website for up to 90 days, unless you clear browser storage or a material change requires a new choice. It does not automatically set preferences on unrelated websites, in another browser, or on third-party sites you visit.

Service providers and other recipients

We use providers that help operate the service: Kinsta for website hosting and delivery; Amazon Web Services for infrastructure, audio delivery, email delivery and consent-record hosting; WordPress and MemberMouse components for accounts and purchases; Stripe where offered at checkout; and services supporting email and customer communications, including ActiveCampaign and the support service linked from our website. Software installed on our server does not necessarily receive a separate copy of your information.

The optional providers described above receive information only when their applicable category is enabled. Advertising providers may use information across services under their own policies. Other disclosures may occur to comply with law, protect rights and security, handle a dispute, or complete a business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable protections.

Provider information: Kinsta, AWS, Stripe, Google, Mixpanel, Meta, Microsoft, Pinterest, Creatopy, and ActiveCampaign.

Legal grounds and international processing

Where European or UK data-protection law applies, we rely on performance of a contract for accounts, purchases and services you request; consent for optional cookies and tracking; legal obligations for records we must keep; and legitimate interests for proportionate security, administration and support. You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

SuccessMinds and its infrastructure operate in the United States, and providers may process information in other countries. Where transfer rules apply, the relevant transfer must be covered by a permitted mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or contractual safeguards. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to a particular provider or transfer. Cookie consent is not a substitute for those safeguards.

Retention

We retain account and purchase information as needed to provide ongoing access, administer subscriptions, comply with accounting and other legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Support and security information is kept according to its purpose and applicable obligations. Optional providers’ retention also depends on their service settings and policies; withdrawing cookie consent stops future optional tracking but does not automatically delete information previously received.

The consent preference cookie lasts up to 90 days. Consent and related audit records are retained for up to three years, with daily consent-database backups retained for up to 30 days. Website backups and provider records have separate retention periods. Where a legal obligation or specific dispute requires preservation, relevant records may be retained longer.

Privacy requests and rights

Email privacy@successminds.com to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, or to ask about its use. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, obtain data portability, appeal a request decision, and complain to a competent data-protection authority. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any applicable exception.

If California sale-or-sharing rights apply, optional advertising disclosures can qualify as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, even without a monetary payment. Keep Marketing off, select Reject, or enable Global Privacy Control to stop those website disclosures. You can also email us with a request. We do not deny the core service because you refuse optional cookies or exercise an applicable privacy right. California residents may also ask about disclosures for other companies’ direct marketing under applicable law.

Children, security and changes

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

We will post policy updates here and change the date above. Material changes may require additional notice or a new consent choice. This policy describes website and related account processing; an independently provided app or third-party service may have its own privacy notice.
